Sunday Morning Girl Talk
Yikes! I'm sorry our time together didn't make it to the blog yesterday morning. Life with three kiddos, transforming my kitchen into egg bake central, and celebrating my Dad's birthday with a brunch slid in the way. The day was glorious though. With my oldest in school, I really look forward to the weekend when she is around more. The entire balance in our house shifts a bit. The younger two slide into a more mature spot in their brains and all three just play together (okay, and fight a bit), all day long.
Her presence offers a thread of independence to me, as well as a very messy home (my oldest LOVES to surprise me with turning our living room into a school when I'm doing dishes, or building forts in the basement while I sweep the floor, etc). But the mess is worth it. Listening to your kiddos giggle with one another while you have time to drink tea, read a chapter from a book (gasp!), and even complete a web development project feels like I'm finally seeing the end of this "young kid zone" stage of life.
But then again, they are growing up. ... Excuse me while I go sob into my pillow.
How is my first baby almost seven years old? And my last is three! Technically, he's not even considered a baby anymore!
It's shocking folks. Just shocking. But at the same time, it's oh so lovely.
Anyway, back to She is Bright!
I've got some exciting posts coming up this week! I'm always the type of gal who researches her purchases like crazy so I thought I'd lend my thoughts on some new pieces of clothing I've been trying out. Upcoming reviews this week will include my experience with LuLuRoe and what I think of their products (totally different outcome than I expected). And I'm also trying out the Full Coverage Pushup bra from ThirdLove. Yes, THIRDLOVE!
I'm seriously so excited to try this new brand of bra. Maybe too excited. After months and months of researching this bra and anticipating how great it will be, I'm paralyzed and just staring at the box. Yup, it's sitting on my bed right now, untouched.
But I'll be brave enough because my boobs are worth it. All Of our boobs are worth it if this $68 bra is as comfortable as they claim! Right?
Obviously I've had too much caffeine this morning. Time to put it to practical use and wrangle up my kiddos and try to get them dressed for church this morning in a manner that proves I do in fact launder their clothing, despite their regular appearances.
Have a blessed, bold, and brave Sunday!
